Nature-Based Professional Training
Professional Training
Nature-Based
The Naturalwalks School provides the tools professionals—and those aspiring to become professionals—need to work with nature and its resources, whether directly or indirectly. This includes areas such as tourism and related services, as well as connections to gastronomy through the use of wild ingredients (algae, plants, fungi, and mushrooms), and their relationship to health and well-being.
We develop customized training and consulting programs for public and private entities and institutions seeking to improve the quality of their services by strengthening their connection with nature and its associated culture, from a respectful and sustainable perspective.

“We teach what we do”
– 15 years training professionals –
Our passion is connecting people with the land, whether through interpretation, culinary excellence, or improving health through nature. With a global perspective and rigorous execution, we have established a leading track record.
International experience: We have taught numerous specialized courses in guiding and interpreting extremely diverse natural and cultural heritage, in settings ranging from Mediterranean and Central European environments, to tropical coastal and continental settings (the Amazon), and from cold or high-mountain regions (Patagonia or the Andes).
Pioneers in university-level guiding training: Creation and coordination of the first postgraduate program in nature guiding in Europe (2012) and coordination of the NATOUR project (Erasmus+) in 10 countries.
Pioneers in university-level gastrobotany training: we work with leading universities and culinary schools across the country (EUTD Sant Pol, CETT, Hoffman School, Le Cordon Bleu -Peru-, Basque Culinary, Moreno Mariano School -Colombia-, among others) in specialized training programs focused on the use of wild vegetables and fungi (Healthyfood), signature cuisine, mixology, and more.
Training for the sustainable regional development: we have actively participated in training programs aimed at creating touristic routes and products in remote and underdeveloped areas to promote innovative and potentially sustainable tourism. Examples include the INHERIT project (Pallars Sobirà and Jussà) and the PHOENIX project (Terres de l’Ebre).
Terra Animada Project (El Celler de Can Roca): Since 2012, we have coordinated the botanical and gastronomic research project for one of the world’s best restaurants.
Institutional and academic involvement: We are members as well as guest experts in the IGCAT network (International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism).
